2019 El Dorado County Viognier 2019 El Dorado County Viognier

Our Viognier comes from high elevation in the Fair Play AVA of southern El Dorado County where the significant diurnal shift and well draining soils yield a wine with both great aromatics and structure. This Viognier opens with aromas of rose petal, mango that lead into a full bodied wine laced with flavors of white peach, nectarine and honeysuckle. The viscous mouthfeel takes you seamlessly into a creamy, yet structured finish.

Great to drink on its own or pair with fatty cheeses, oysters, clams, crab, roasted chicken, or white fish.

Winemaking
Our Viognier was whole cluster pressed into a stainless steel tank where it underwent a 24 hour cold soak and settle prior to barreling into old French Oak. The wine underwent a 15-day native fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation, and nine moths sur lie barrel aging prior to being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Our Price: $24.00
2018 Dry Creek Valley Syrah 2018 Dry Creek Valley Syrah

A very special release for us! In 2018 our Dry Creek Syrah was harvested a day before our Viognier grapes, so we decided to take some whole cluster Viognier and co-ferment it with the Syrah (a la Côte-Rôtie style). The result is a savory, yet elevated Syrah with flavors of black olive, fresh leather, violets, blood orange, and bramble fruit with an integrated finish of acid-laced fine grain tannin. A brooding wine an elevated "spritz of perfume" from the aromatic Viognier. Pair with any cut of lamb, beef (sings with Prime Rib or hamburgers), braised foods, or BBQ and smoked meats.

Our Price: $30.00

2020 Fall Release "Vertical Vintage" 4-Pack 2020 Fall Release "Vertical Vintage" 4-Pack

We love going back and tasting bottles we have stuffed away from our older vintages, and with this release we only have a couple of cases left of the 2018 Viognier and 2017 Syrah left, so we thought it would be fun to share a unique "vertical vintage" experience with you rather than keep the rest for ourselves! With this four pack, you can taste what a little extra time in bottle and vintage variation bring to our wines.
