Our 2019 Sonoma County Brut Perry was grown organically on a small family orchard in Western Sonoma County. We picked this blend of five different Asian Pear varietals on October 9th this last year, pressed off the juice into (only) eight old French Oak barrels, fermented and aged it for three and a half months before bottling and kegging unfined and unfiltered. Our traditional-style Brut Perry is naturally gluten-free, comes in at 7.1% ABV, and is made from 100% Asian Pears. The Perry has notes of white flowers framed by candied ginger and baking spices, a rounded mouthfeel, and a crisp, dry finish.
We pulled a few cases of this one-time only release from our library and think this is drinking great right now, so wanted to release the very last of our inventory! Our special malted cider release for the 2018 SF Beer Week is a combination of cider, wine, and beer all in one beverage!Flanders Noir is a unique blend of our Brut Cider, Conduit Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and a brown ale malt made in collaboration with San Francisco's Standard Deviant Brewing Company. Coming in at a very crushable 9.8% ABV, the reddish-copper colored Flanders Noir has hints of caramel and bing cherries with a dry and malty smooth finish. The two year bottle age has allowed this cider to really come together and the notes of cherry and caramel are completely integrated with the dry, zippy finish. We only have a few cases of this left, so get yours while they last!
